![]() The only thing that some existing users may complain about is the fact that no discount is offered for upgrades but for the modest price the developer asks for such a great app, it's a small price pay. You can tweak and tinker with absolutely everything from your startup sequence to easy removal of excessive language support files installed on your system. It is however the sheer range of features in TinkerTool System which boggles the mind. For example, the uninstaller is useful because it removes associated files for all users on a system whereas free removal tools such as AppDelete only usually remove files for the logged-on user. Use the drop-down menu next to 'Format' to select 'MS-DOS (FAT). This is the name that macOS uses for FAT32. If you want to rename your USB drive, enter a new name for the USB drive in the field next to 'Name.' 8. Many of the features you will find in TinkerTool System are duplicated in free applications such as Onyx but there's no doubt that this app does go a bit deeper and offers more at the end of the day. Enter a new name for your USB drive (optional). Of course, it goes without saying that you should be very careful when doing this because one wrong tweak, and you may break OS X. It works very much like the System Preferences in OS X allowing you to change advanced operating system settings and gives access to internal maintenance features built into Mac OS X. TinkerTool System is the sister program to TinkerTool which is a little confusing but this app is more advanced. Most of these tricks are beyond mere mortals but TinkerTool System makes it easy for anyone to play around with their system until it's humming just the way they want it. Restart your macOS.Experienced users of OS X will know that if you get under the hood of it enough, you can tweak it to make it work faster and more efficiently.

Some people that were not here had a fairly large electric bill, even though they were not here running their AC. Last year we had 105 Degree heat index, for days on end. We recommend leaving your fridge on electric set to auto, and leave your propane on in case of a power outage. Though I don't recommend leaving your fridge on propane when you leave. If your a seasonal running everything you can on propane the entire time your here, typically saves you about $45 a year in electric. You can also see how switching to propane makes a big difference. Also, some other large draw items are hot plates, electric griddles, coffee makers, lights, TV's. As you can see, it wont all happen at the same time. You can see right here that the 30 Amp supply to the camper is being asked to supply 50.5 Amps (excluding the heater). Refrigerator on electric= 8 Amps (On propane is 1.5 Amps).Ĭonverter= 2-12 Amps (Depends on battery charge). Hot Water heater on electric = 4- 12.5 Amps (Depends if it is maintaining, or heating from cold). Lets look at the typical power used for each one of these items. ![]() Switch your refrigerator and hot water heater to propane. So there are a couple things you can do to lessen the inconvenience. Also remember, there is a converter running producing 12 VDC for other things in your camper, like thermostats, keeping the battery charged, lights, refrigerator control cards working, and more. This causes you to choose whats most important at any given time. So if your new to camping, you quickly will learn that if you have a 30 Amp configuration, the hot water heater, air conditioner, and microwave, and refrigerator can not all run at the same time. ![]() Your 30 Amp single phase camper will ONLY pull from ONE of the two phases, so there is a potential the 50 Amp breaker may NOT trip when it needs to. The 50 Amp breaker is a double pole (two phase meant to be used with 240VAC, double throw breaker). There is another issue with doing this that is commonly undisclosed. Even if you plugged your camper into a 100 Amp outlet, your main breaker will stop you from drawing more than 30 Amp's. ![]() If your camper has a 30 Amp cord, it will have a 30 Amp Main breaker. We have seen even 28 foot campers coming in lately that are 50 Amp.Īt the end of the day, what matters the most is what your camper is designed for. One customer said he likes to use it because the 30 Amp connections are typically worn out more than the 50 Amp connection. So most people would ask, WHY? Why would someone pay for 50 Amp when the main breaker in your camper is a 30 Amp breaker? Lately we have seen lots of people that have a camper that has a 30 Amp cord, and a 30 Amp main breaker, using the 50 Amp service. But we don't charge more for a 50 Amp site, just the service. If you do want the 50 Amp hookup, we do charge $10 a night for it. You can rent a 50 Amp site without paying the extra fee at Triple R. Remember whatever your opinion is, or whatever the math looks like, what size main breaker do you have in your rig? That's all that matters.Īt Triple R we charge for 50 Amp service to Transit campers.Īt time of booking at most campgrounds, you will be asked if you need a 50 Amp service. So we have seen a new trend in people using 50 Amp even when they have a 30 Amp camper. ![]() This way, grass blades have a chance to dry out before nightfall. Aerate the soil to prevent thatch buildup and to loosen compacted, poorly draining soil. Water long and sparingly (no more than once a week), early in the day. You can’t do much about hot and humid weather, but you can take other steps to keep the lawn healthy, dry, and less hospitable to the fungus. Fertilize carefully with a slow-release formula in summer months. Prevent Pythium BlightĪs with many lawn diseases, pythium blight is easier to prevent than to cure. The fungus thrives in water-logged, poorly drained grass. It also loves over-fertilized, alkaline (pH over 7) soil with high levels of nitrogen and low levels of calcium. ![]() It can travel on the blades of a lawnmower and on the soles of shoes. Pythium blight is easily spread by moving water and mechanical equipment. In these conditions, infected grass will quickly brown, wilt, dry out, and die. Dead patches of grass, circular or irregular in shape, can grow to be six or more inches across. It’s most deadly when the relative humidity remains above 90% for more than 14 hours, daytime temperatures stay above 85° F, and nighttime temperatures never fall below 68° F. Pythium blight causes the worst damage to turf in persistently hot and humid weather. ![]() In later stages, it can cause cotton candy-like fluffs of white or gray mycelium to grow out of infected turf. The Pythium fungus can make grass look and feel wet and oily. In more recent decades, however, this fungal lawn disease has become recognized as a problem for athletic fields and backyards, too. Bentgrass and ryegrass are particularly susceptible to the fungus. First reported in the United States in the 1930s, pythium blight was at first considered a problem only on golf greens. If you don't have one, go for a standalone headset. ❌ You don't have a powerful PC: To get the most bang for your buck, you'll need a hefty rig. If you want VR but can't afford this and a hefty gaming PC, go for a cheaper option. ❌ You don't have the funds: VR is expensive, especially if it's this headset. In terms of specs, features, and value for money, PSVR 2 has blasted its way onto the scene, leaving the rest of the VR gaming competition in its wake with a stellar all-round package. Outer Wilds, Returnal, HUNT: Showdown - games that are totally immersive at the best of times get a heart-pounding boost played like this. Continual software updates have helped improve performance, and Cinematic Mode is continually one of my favorite uses of this device. PSVR 2 never fails to warn you if you're overstepping the mark. ![]() When it comes to room tracking, you always feel safe. Visual fidelity in this headset is breathtaking, and combining OLED tech with foveated rendering is a work of genius. ![]() It makes a device that's just over $500 feel like something worth double that. The OLED panel technology inside PSVR 2 is second-to-none. Its list of games is growing though, and barring a couple of exceptions, each game that's released for it is capable of turning a lot of heads (pun intended). It's admittedly hamstrung by its lack of compatibility with PSVR1, or indeed PC. Performance: PSVR 2's well of high-end VR features all add up to such a great platform to experience gaming on. The clever integrations thanks to really solid eye-tracking and foveated rendering will have your jaw continually hitting the floor too. The OLED panel looks astounding whether you're fully immersed in the 110-degree FOV, or whether you're playing non-VR content in cinematic mode. Haptic feedback in the excellent VR2 Sense controllers, the headband, and some light trigger resistance - these features arguably feel more at home in VR than they do on the DualSense. The Quick Listįeatures: For your money, you get a slew of impressive features that ground you in VR experiences like never before. PSVR 2's launch marks a great moment for affordability in high-end VR gaming, though, and in our PSVR 2 review, we praised it for its premium feature set that usually costs far more. Of course, VR isn't the cheapest gaming space to jump into, especially when the cost of living is as high as it is. We've put this guide together based on both our own hands-on experience and by balancing spec lists and price points to find the best value platforms. To help you navigate this often complicated-seeming market, we've rounded up the best VR headsets you can buy at the moment down below. The Meta Quest 2 is still as viable as ever, and PSVR 2 is one of the best VR headsets for gaming we've seen. Don't forget though, that PC gaming isn't your only route in. If you're looking for the best tech available for PC VR, we'd argue a grand's investment is worth it. Keep in mind, if you already have one of the best gaming PCs, you might not need to spend as much. Premium devices from the likes of HTC, Meta, and Valve can still trickle into that four-figure mark, but not nearly to the tune of $3,000. Paying $3.5 grand for Apple's ski mask probably isn't the most appealing option for the majority of VR gamers, so you'll be glad to know that it is possible to find some of the best VR headsets for between $300 and $600. ![]() The reason I like this one best is because it doubles as a case for iPhone 5/5s. I’ve used a variety of external batteries before, but the one that is definitely the most convenient is the Mophie Juice Pack Air. I also depend on it heavily and can’t afford to run out of juice. However, when I’m on the road I tend to use my iPhone 5s quite a bit when I’m not near a power source. While at my desk I keep it plugged in and while in my car I use this car charger. The company's similar Juice Pack Helium is a better deal and remains our Editors' Choice, with comparable performance, a slimmer design, and a more palatable price. If you use your iPhone a lot during the day then chances are you’ll run out of battery before you run out of day. The Mophie Juice Pack Air is a solid battery case for the iPhone 5, and while it adds the most battery life, I don't think it adds enough to justify the $20 premium. The iPhone 5 itself lasted 8 hours, 40 minutes, so the Air doesn't quite live up to the twice-the-power claim, but it offers up a bit more juice than the Helium. The Helium, meanwhile, added 6 hours, 20 minutes on the same test. In my tests, making a continuous call with LTE enabled with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth switched off, the Juice Pack Air added 6 hours, 57 minutes of talk time to my completely drained AT&T iPhone 5. Performance and Conclusions The Air uses a 1700mAh battery, a bump up from the 1500mAh capacity found in the Helium, which Mophie claims should double the battery life of your iPhone 5. Plugging in a micro USB cable allows pass-through charging of both the iPhone 5 and the battery case, but you'll need to sync your iPhone using Wi-Fi instead. I like Mophie's choice to use a micro USB port for charging, as micro USB cables are plentiful and affordable, while Lightning cables are expensive and harder to find. The two pieces securely snap together, and installation is as easy as sliding an iPhone 5 into the top section and snapping the bottom on. Around back are the battery indicator LEDs, Indicator button, and a standby switch for activating the flow of juice. The case comes in two parts, with the bottom section housing the Lightning connector on the inside and a micro USB port on the outside for charging. The Air is available in black, white, or red, while the Helium is only available in two shades of gray. The two cases have the same camera cutout and deeply recessed 3.5mm jack, which requires the included extender if you want to use most standard headphones. The plastic buttons feel a bit flimsy, but they're easier to access, since the Helium's cutouts are a bit too deep. The Air also uses plastic button overlays for Volume and Power, instead of the cutouts found on the Helium. There's a plastic coating around the edges of the Air, as opposed to the completely smooth case on the Helium. Both the Helium and Air cases will add noticeable length to the iPhone 5, but the Air adds just a bit more in every dimension. ![]() The Air is slightly larger and heavier at 5.54 by 2.60 by 0.63 inches and 2.68 ounces (versus the Helium's 5.49 by 2.49 by 0.59 inches and 2.44 ounces), but even side by side it's difficult to notice that much of a difference. Design and Features The Juice Pack Air shares a lot in common with the Helium, with the same grippy soft-touch plastic exterior and sliding two-part construction.
